VISION & OBJECTIVE
The Science & Technology Diplomatic Circle (S&TDC) Shanghai is an association of members from diplomatic missions in the Shanghai area. Most members are diplomats or officers dealing with Science & Technology as well as Higher Education and Innovation. The S&TDC has a very deep-rooted tradition of networking with key people from the government, academia and the private sector. Our mission is to discover new bonds in Shanghai and connect them back to our countries.
The objective of the S&TDC is to offer a platform for activities, seminars and visits interacting with leaders and officials of the government, academia and private sector of Shanghai. The primary focus is science & technology. The S&TDC provides many opportunities for networking and exchange of information. In a team effort among the diplomatic colleagues in Shanghai, we focus on visits and encounters to explore the political, academic and private sector of Shanghai, which shape the local innovation ecosystem.
